A whole-person perspective

Your body carries information.

Indigenous African healing traditions understand health as a relationship between the body, one’s habits, environment, spirit and quality of life. During a consultation, the healer asks questions and uses non-invasive, hands-on techniques to assess bodily systems and patterns of imbalance.

You leave with a clearer understanding of your health from an Indigenous perspective and practical recommendations designed to work together—herbal remedies, food, movement, rest and daily behavior.

A living legacy

Knowledge carried through direct apprenticeship.

ANH founder Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig brought this consultation tradition to communities in the United States and trained practitioners through direct observation, disciplined study and hands-on apprenticeship. Today, Iritah Naba Shenmira and Nehez Meniooh continue that lineage while remaining connected to elder healers and Indigenous communities in West Africa.

Plan your appointment

Consultations are in person.

Hands-on contact and visual observation are essential to this service, so health consultations cannot be completed virtually. ANH healers travel throughout the United States, most commonly serving New York and New Jersey, Chicago, Houston, Baltimore and California.

Availability varies by season and travel schedule. Contact the consultations team before purchasing so they can confirm the nearest upcoming location or discuss special travel circumstances.

After your consultation

Insight becomes useful through follow-through.

Your written summary may include herbal remedies, preparation guidance and recommendations for food, movement and daily routines. Recommended products are purchased separately.

A health-services representative will help you understand next steps, order remedies and stay connected with your healer. You may also add Health & Lifestyle Coaching for accountability as you put your plan into practice.
